Boyce Alexander Duncan

October 15, 1972 — September 3, 2024

Boyce Alexander Duncan departed this life on Tuesday September 3rd, 2024, at his home in Marshville NC. While all friends and family are saddened by his departure, we all rejoice in the fact that he is healed and walking with Jesus and our loved ones that have gone before him.

Boyce was born on October 15, 1972, in Charlotte NC. His blessed parents were John and Loretta Duncan. He was their precious baby boy. Boyce was always the star of the show. There was nothing he couldn’t do, or fix. You could always find him loving on his dog Major, dancing, singing, playing at the piano, working on, or racing his prize Mustang, roller skating, playing football and softball. Mom and Dad were his biggest fans! You would always hear “Let’s Go 2-3” from any stands he was playing at. He was a plumber for the biggest part of his career, and everything he did was to perfection!

We have no doubt that Boyce was a born-again believer. He was not ashamed to share stories of Jesus, bible verses or even serenade you with a good ol’ church hymn. Boyce was our role model growing up. He was something special for sure, to everyone who met him. He had a heart of gold, and he loved with the eyes of Jesus. He had such a giving heart, and would give you the shirt off his back, even if it meant him going without one. He leaves a huge hole in everyone’s world, but man the memories we have that will help his legacy live forever more.

Boyce leaves behind his mom and best friend, Loretta Duncan-Jackson, brother Eddy Duncan, (wife -Cathy, children Conni, Tre (Nikki), and Bailey Duncan) sister Melody Pender (husband Marvin, children Aliyah Story (Logan) & Adam Pender), Brian Comer (Misty), and Samantha Duncan, as well as tons of great nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Family members waiting to greet him in heaven are his dad, John Edward Duncan Sr., brother Keith Duncan (Joyce.)

Torez D. Blue Funeral Service Licensee will be handling the arrangements.
